MEET YOUR ATTORNEY
Dianne is licensed to practice in every court in the state of Mississippi, federal and state, and is licensed to practice in the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
Dianne is an actively practicing lawyer, and she can be found in court on most days. Her focus is on family law, which includes divorce, child custody, adoption, child support, grandparent visitation, guardianship, wills and estates, conservatorships, and other probate matters. In addition, Dianne has a criminal law practice, as well.
The firm is proud to represent many fathers, same-sex couples, grandparents, and anyone who loves and cares for a child. We serve our clients without prejudice, and all are welcome in our office.
Dianne is a mother and a grandmother herself. She is licensed as an RN and graduated from nursing school in 1991. Dianne returned to college and completed law school as a single mother of two children.
She is married to the love of her life, Evan Ellis, and she is honored to be a stepmother to a brilliant young woman who is now a nurse.
Dianne is a graduate of the University of Mobile, Tulane University, and the Mississippi College School of Law. Dianne is a member of the Mississippi Bar Child Welfare and Child Advocacy Committee for the 2020–2021 year.
